Lake Okanagan

A large, deep blue lake in the Okanagan Valley running 135 km long is really beautiful and can be seen from several different spots in Kelowna. The largest in a chain of lakes is the main recreation playground for locals and visitors alike, offering boating, swimming, and several beach activities. The lake is home to quite a few species of fish, including rainbow trout and kokanee. Myra Canyon Trestles

The Myra canyon on the abandoned Kettle Valley railway bed is an exceptional tourist attraction. This popular, well maintained and scenic portion covers 18 giant trestle bridges and two tunnels and features some startling views over the lake. Stretching just over 12 kilometers, cycling in Myra Canyon is majorly loved by its visitors. You can easily rent bikes in its parking lot if you are one of the riding enthusiasts. Big White Ski Resort

Big White Ski Resort or Big White is located just 60 kilometers southeast of Kelowna in the Monashee Mountains, Big White Mountain. It is one of Canada's most spectacular ski resorts which was opened in 1963 with one T-bar. It has a total of 118 designated trails and 27 unnamed trails providing a range of thrilling winter sports like snowmobile tours, kids snowmobile rides, sleigh riding, dog sleds, snowshoeing through its beautiful snow trails.
